Year after year we try to let you know, Of the love we carry in our hearts from the love that you have sown. For the care that you gave us each and every day, And when you stood beside us when we couldn’t find our way. You clothed and fed us throughout our younger years, And held us when we couldn’t hold the tears. That is why there are not enough words that will convey... ...How we really feel about you on Mother’s Day!

This is the card I created for my mother for this special day! Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers who read this blog!!!
I have special memories of coming home from school and my mother would always have the house cleaned and she would usually be working in her yard. However, when I went inside there would be an after school snack waiting for my brother and I on the kitchen table or counter. The snack that sticks out in my memory is of the Armenian Cucumbers soaked in vinegar! We grew the cucumbers in our garden. We also grew yellow crooked-neck squash, summer squash, zucchini squash, tomatoes, carrots, and regular cucumbers.

That's a beautiful verse Marion. We celebrate Mother's Day on a different day here in England. It's still a special day though. My Mum is 75 now but to me she never seems any older!
Oh my goodness! As I'm reading this post I am eating vinegar soaked cucumber bites. I kid you not. I hope you had a great Mom's day. I actually made enough money to buy a few moms flowers and plants and dinner. Blessings on you, my friend.
